Seeing
is Believing
“Blessed are the eyes that see the things that ye see: For I
tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those
things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear, and have
not heard them”. Luke 10:23b-24
As many of you have heard me say in church speaking engagements,
when the human senses are working together: seeing, hearing, feeling,
etc., then an experience (viewing a Christian film) for someone
will have all the more of a greater impact on that person. Thats
the effect that Christian movies have on a watching crowd. Peoples
eyes (seeing) are fixed upon the screen and their ears (hearing)
are tuned to the sound and the Holy Spirit (feelings) softens their
hearts as they gaze in quiet contemplation. As Jesus said above,
Blessed are those who see and hear.
Praise God for giving us (CSC and you) this ministry of film evangelism
so we can reconcile the multitudes. Not only do the Christian films
present the Gospel to the masses but they also help establish many
new churches where none had existed before. You will notice below
how God used CSC to begin 104 new churches in 2004. The films help
provide the beginning for ones Christian life, the Church
itself is the future for the new believers.
