Friends in Christ,
Five New Film Teams in India and Sri Lanka
Let me begin by expressing my thanks for your prayers on my recent trip March 24-April 7 trip to India, Sri Lanka and Nepal. Almost one year ago to date, you will recall I traveled to India to train and equip our first three film teams. Now from this recent trip, CSC has five more new film teams assisting and planting churches and saving souls. Praise God! It was on December 29, 2005 that I knew God would be sending me again to this spiritually dark part of the world. As I read Philippians 1:6 that early December morning, God brought to mind India. It was then I knew my job was not finished, as God would continue, though me as the director of this great ministry, what He had begun in April of 2005. What a joy it is to be on mission with God and know He is the one calling all the shots. Thank you for the confidence you have placed in me and for your financial and prayer partnership. God Bless you!!! In the coming months I will better acquaint and inform you of the new works we have begun in India and Sri Lanka.
El Salvador
In El Salvador, Bro. Jose showed the Burning Hell Film. A man by the name of Salvador was there to see the film, but that particular night he did not make a decision to receive Jesus as his Savior. That same night, the sponsoring church announced that CSC would show another film the following night, but in a town four kilometers away. Salvador went to his house and later that night, but could not sleep because he was very sad he did not receive Jesus earlier that night. He remembered the announcement that there would be another showing and so he planned to go to the next night to see the film. The following day was very long for him as he waited for night to come. When he arrived to see the second showing, he did not wait until the film started, he asked Bro. G and the pastor to pray for him because he waited to receive Jesus as his personal Savior right then and he shared how the movie had changed his life. Glory to God for this effective Ministry!!! (FYI, Salvador in Spanish translates Savior in English.)
Columbia (Amazon River Region)
In Columbia, CSC showed the Passion Film. Halfway into the movie, it began to rain and one the the attendees, suggested to the CSC missionary, Bro. Jovino, that they move the equipment into a public Chapel. Bro. Jovino agreed and many people helped move the equipment and the movie continued. After sometime, a man came to Bro. Jovino and asked, “Are you in charge of all this and why didn’t you talk with me before entering here?” and he hit Bro. Jovino in the chest and tore his shirt. Bro. Jovino didn’t know what to do, but in that moment, a man came to defend him as well as all the people watching the film. After sometime, the man left an when the film was over and the invitation given, 60 people came forward to receive Jesus as their personal Savior. Praise God for His unusual ways.
